London-based band Craig Shaw & the Illuminators have joined the Wild Records-ranks! Their infectious blend of gut wrenching stomping gospel rockabilly blues and rock 'n roll have not gone unnoticed. In combination with high energy performances and a love for great roots music, this is a band you have to keep an eye on.

Craig Shaw & The Illuminators was originally formed in London in 2007 starting out mainly as a recording project for Craig's original material, this led to the album Find My Way with Wayne Hopkins on Bass and Evan Jenkins on Drums.. Shortly after this Craig's other band The Excellos started to take shape and became his main interest for the next 6 years.

2013 saw Craig Shaw and the Illuminators return this time with Garry Tyrrell Lynch on bass. Murdo Mackenzie sitting in on drums while Evan is away with the Neil Cowley Trio. Plus Jake Allen on Guitar for the live shows. They have been recording, mixing and producing new material themselves for the past year of which 2 songs, I Believe b/w Twist & Bop are out now on a 45rpm vinyl with Wild Records.
